ZASH

Zash is a Design Hotel built in 2011 on Etna, in Riposto near the city of Catania

A project to recover a family farmhouse where dialogue with Nature is strong and the presence of the Etna volcano connotes a strong identity. Zash arises from an intervention on the mansion of the Maugeri family, an ancient millstone for the pressing and transformation of musts into wine, and from the construction of new complexes that constitute rooms and suites, capable of guaranteeing guests total comfort.
Zash Country Boutique Hotel & SPA received the first prize at the PIDA international hotel architecture competition (Ischia International Architecture Award), in the 2013 edition.
Today, Zash also hosts a SPA and a Michelin star 2024 restaurant, assigned from 2019, led by chef Giuseppe Raciti.
